My Vision

I've always envisioned AFA-AFA as a place where people feel comfortable learning about their history and culture. As a film and history student who has dabbled in a variety of creative fields, I recognise that sometimes my plans or ideas may seem unrealistic, but so did the establishment of the organisation, and yet, here it is.

I recall what sparked my passion for architecture, and I believe you can see it in these designs. Can you guess? That was Black Panther. The Wakanda of it all inspired me tremendously.

I believe that, with sufficient concentration and commitment, Africa is capable of producing such wondrous works, and I want AFA to be the conduit through which this occurs. Please enjoy this page as much as you did the page on Pan-Africanist Afrofuturism; I hope you enjoy the glimpse into my mind.

These designs were inspired by the concept of artistic community. The concept of Ubuntu, also known as solidarity, is prevalent throughout the designs on the Pan-Africanist Afrofuturism page, especially in the school interior designs. The reason is that African cultures are based on the community. The West is responsible for introducing the culture of individualism, which is how they prospered. However, Africa's cultures are centred on their community, which is how they thrived.

This means that in addition to being an environment for appreciating art, these museums are also community spaces where individuals can discuss, learn, and develop while appreciating their shared cultures.
