Michelle Adepoju 

Michelle Adepoju, a UK native with Nigerian heritage, was raised in a household steeped in Yoruba culture. After completing her education, she ventured to Nigeria and delved into the vibrant cultures of neighboring West African nations such as Burkina Faso, Togo, Senegal, and Ivory Coast.

Throughout her travels, Michelle was deeply moved by the dedication and expertise of local artisans, who passed down their craft through generations. Fueled by her experiences and desire for exploration, she established the Kìléntár brand in 2019, officially launching it in 2020. The brand pays homage to the skilled artisans by reimagining their traditional work with a modern twist.

Michelle's vision for Kìléntár is to celebrate the grace and sophistication of the feminine form, while also inviting individuals to embark on a unique journey through West Africa via the medium of fashion.
